Our Story
Founded in 2008 by Ben Parish, Eco Solar was born from the desire to create a solar company focused on a better experience for both customers and employees.
Starting out in a Mililani garage, Eco Solar grew quickly and earned a reputation for superior workmanship and service. Sixteen years later, Eco Solar is a proud Maxeon Preferred Partner and Tesla Powerwall Premier Certified Installer.
A Better Business Bureau A+ Accredited company since 2011, Eco Solar has more than 3,000 installs and a 4.7-star rating from Happy Customers on Google and Yelp. Ben Parish, Founder attributes the company’s continued success to its three fundamental principals of Quality, Service and People.

Ben, Founder
Ben founded Eco Solar over a decade ago. He’ll will work on your project at various stages including site evaluation and system design, installation, quality control review and service. Ben’s beliefs in quality over quantity has enabled him to keep is finger on the pulse of his business.
Chris, Operations Manager
Chris will work on your project at various stages including HECO applications, scheduling of installation, system operation verification and servicing. Chris has been in the solar industry for over a decade and is an expert in everything we do here at SunPower by Eco Solar Hawaii.
Coleen, Operation Supervisor
Coleen will work on your project at various stages including HOA applications, scheduling of pre-inspections, permitting, and HECO validations all while providing excellent customer service along the way. Coleen is an excellent resource for information and the first point of contact if you call us.
Gavin, Electrical Installation Manager
Gavin has installed over 1500 PV systems while working with Eco Solar. He is also responsible for over 1000 Tesla battery installs. Gavin is a true professional and expert in his field with unmatched experience and efficiency. He will be onsite during your project installation and will deliver electrical equipment and battery installations customized to your homes needs.
Moe, PV Installation Manager
Moe has over a decade of PV system installation experience. He will be onsite at your project and actively works as part of our team to install your PV system. Rain or shine, your project will be completed professionally and efficiently under Moe’s watchful eye. He is also an expert in service and system troubleshooting should you need our help in the future.
Kirby, Solar System Designer
With 14 years in the solar industry, Kirby has helped thousands of Oahu homeowners save money and make a positive impact on the environment by switching to Solar.
Matt, Solar System Designer
Over the past 9 years Matt has had the privilege of helping over 500 families make the move to solar. With a dual background in real estate sales, he understands the value a PV system adds to both your current electricity needs and the future marketability of your home.
Michael, Solar System Designer
Originally from Kailua-Kona, Michael has helped over one thousand families in Hawaii make the move to Solar. Michael is certified as an Advanced Residential Designer. In his free time, he enjoys surfing and diving.
